I assuming at this point Paula Abdul is kicking herself for not hopping on the Dancing with the Stars opportunity that was offered to her because apparently now . . .

Paula will be the new Ed McMahon . . . she is finalizing details to host an updated version of Star Search for ABC . . . ok . . . don't we already have that? Between American Idol's 9 seasons and America's Got Talent . . . I think we're actually running OUT of talent at this point.

Apparently the show will premiere this summer and Paula will apparently be hosting AND judging.
