Vertical Horizon Is Back With A New Album![]() Vertical Horizon has announced the September 23rd release of its new album Go, the follow-up to 1999's multi-platinum Everything You Want. Although the band completed the bulk of the record many months ago, circumstances beyond their control delayed its release. During that time, the band headed back into the studio, and recorded "I'm Still Here," which will now be the first single. It's been more than three years since Vertical Horizon's last album, and lead singer Matt Scannell said he's now more certain about the band's direction and purpose. He said that the new songs are about taking steps in life. Scannell adds, "Do the things you want to do, experience what you need to, both positive and negative. It's about living your life." Fans can expect a tour to follow the album's release. Drummer Ed Toth said, "We feel great about the album, and we're going on the road to play the hell out of it." Everything You Want sold more than 1.8 million copies, and featured the singles "Everything You Want," "We Are," "The Best I Ever Had," and "You're a God." The band's other albums include There and Back Again, Running on Ice, and Live Stages. from LAUNCH media More music headlines | |
