It had been 12 years! Discovery was the first Star Trek series to appear on a pay-for-streaming service and I remember thinking. “I’ll never pay to watch this Star Trek series!” Then as a fan, it got the better of me and I gave in to subscribing to what is now the Paramount App to see it first!

Great storylines and character plots developed and the rest is history. You get hooked on a show and a new way of watching TV began for me!

When original Star Trek series characters endorsed the show it became a no-brainer. Rest in peace, Nichelle Nichols :(
