| Couples Court: His house, Our House (05/11/2010) Derrick and Samantha have been married almost two years. After they got married they moved into the house that Derrick had bought when he was single. It made sense to do this and the house is nice and Samantha liked it. However, things have changed. Now that they've been married for almost two years Samantha now thinks they should sell Derrick's house and buy a house together. Even though she likes the house it never quite felt like it was her house because Derrick was the one who bought it and has been paying the mortgage. Samantha just thinks if they are to truly be a couple it's something they should do together and that both of their names should be on the house. | listen download |
| United Front of Marriage (05/04/2010) Mark and Michelle have an issue and are looking for BLI in the Morning to settle an argument they've been having. They E-mailed us about being on Couples Court to Solve their problem. They are arguing because Mark wants to get a dog for the family and Michelle is absolutely dead set against it! Mark has had dogs all his life and when he met Michelle he knew she wasn't a big fan of them so never really pursued getting one and when the kids were little he didn't even think about it. Now that the kids are a bit older (6 and 9) he thinks it's time the family had a dog. He thinks it will be nice for the kids to learn the responsibility of taking care of an animal and he's always had such a great experience with his dogs when he was growing up that he wants his kids to have the same experience. Michelle does NOT want a dog. She thinks they are messy, smelly and just doesn't understand Mark's feelings for them. Michelle is also pissed at Mark because now he's made the children really want a dog and she feels like everyone is ganging up on her. | The 3rd Grader and A Cell Phone (04/27/2010) Jake and Susan have an issue and are looking for BLI in the Morning to settle an argument they've been having. They E-mailed us about being on Couples Court to Solve their problem over giving their daughter Kylie a cell phone. The issue is that Kylie is in 3rd grade and Jake thinks it's WAAAAY too young for a kid to have a cell phone. Susan thinks it's a good idea because they can just get a family plan and this way she will know where Kylie is at all times and she will have it in case of emergency. Some of Kylie's friends already have them. Jake thinks it's a bad idea because not only is Kylie too young but he doesn't think she's responsible enough yet. | The Prom Dress (04/06/2010) Kathy and Mitch are a happily married couple and have an 18 year old daughter Tammy, who is a great kid stays out of trouble and all that good stuff. So Mitch and Kathy decided that they would pay for her whole Prom, limo, makeover, and dress. It was all going smooth until Tammy went out shopping for a prom dress and picked out one that was a little too slutty for Mitch's taste. | Couples Court 3/23/10 (03/23/2010) Tina and Jared have a little dilemma which they needed to reach out to BLI in the Morning to have solved. Jared recently tapped into their vacation fund to buy a brand new ride on lawnmower. When Tina found out about this she was out raged cause that means they would have not have the money to go on vacation.
