Dr. Travis Stork is an emergency room physician, who practices at a trauma center in his native Colorado when he is not in front of the cameras for THE DOCTORS. His credentials include graduating Magna Cum Laude from Duke University and earning his M.D. with Honors from the University of Virginia. He completed his three-year residency as an emergency room doctor at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn.

Dr. Stork is perhaps best known to television audiences from his starring title role in the popular ABC primetime series, "The Bachelor," during the series' eighth season set in Paris, France. It was his appearance on that series that brought him to the attention of Dr. Phil McGraw and executive producer, Jay McGraw. What sold Dr. Stork on being involved in the new daytime show was when Dr. Phil told him that he could educate more people in a one-hour episode than during his entire life in the ER.

He wrote his first book, Don't Be That Girl: A Guide to Finding the Confident, Rational Girl Within, In the book, Dr. Stork reveals why women must first believe in themselves if they hope to find the type of relationship that will bring them the fulfillment and happiness they deserve.
