The suits over at Hallmark must be kicking themselves for not coming up with this idea:
Netflix has one of those heartwarming, romantic Christmas movies coming soon called “The Merry Gentlemen”.
It sounds like it has everything women generally expect in one of those Hallmark flicks . . . plus MALE STRIPPERS. And Chad Michael Murray is one of them. (!!!)
Here’s the plot, such as it is: A big city girl travels home for the holidays to find that her parents’ small-town entertainment venue is in financial trouble. Her solution? An all-male revue.
Chad says, quote, “This isn’t your standard, formatted genre piece for the holidays . . . it’s something to get a little hot and bothered under the collar, which is great, but the romance is there, the sparks are flying.
“We’ve got some great comedy beats in there that you’re going to laugh out loud [to].”
“The Merry Gentlemen” debuts November 20th.
