Egg-citing Easter activities to do with the kids this weekend!
Maundy Thursday - Hare's egg hunt at Goethe's garden house 17 April 2025, Thuringia, Weimar: An Easter egg, a chocolate bunny and a sweet are hidden on the meadow in front of Goethe's garden house in Weimar. The children of the "Kulturkindergarten am Goethepark" took part in the traditional bunny egg hunt around Goethe's garden house. Goethe himself created the children's amusement in 1777 - initially for the children of friends, later for his son August, his friends and his grandchildren. The Klassik Stiftung Weimar continues this tradition and invites children to Goethe's annual bunny egg hunt in the meadow around Goethe's garden house. The Easter eggs can be searched for, found and enjoyed there.
