We’ll “remember this moment” ...the moment being Dec. 8, 2024. The official end of The Eras Tour! Taylor played her last night in Vancouver with all of us Swifties so heartbroken it’s over. Here are some top moments from the very last Eras Tour show.
Fans were suspecting she may be reppin’ the same outfits she did on night 1 and night 2 of The Eras Tour in Vancouver after spotting cameras all around the arena. Taylor did emerge from the stage wearing the same outfits each night.
Taylor shared that she’s performed The Eras Tour for over 10 million people and has made it her longest-running tour for a reason. It’s a chapter in her life that she’s loved getting to live with us. The tour also was the highest-grossing tour, $2 billion in record sales!
Each era ending made me even more emotional. We’ll never see the different outfits Taylor would wear again, we’ll never get to see The Eras Tour live the way it did on stage. We won’t hear the note changes in some of Taylor’s songs like “Illicit Affairs,” “Lover,” and “Let the Games Begin.” (In case you wanna relive some of the note changes click here.)
I can’t believe Taylor didn’t wear the yellow & green and all-green 1989 look. That will certainly keep me guessing why.
The surprise songs? Taylor kicked it old school by playing “A Place in This World” from Taylor Swift and “New Romantics” from 1989 (Taylor’s Version) on guitar. She then moved to the piano to play a mashup of “Long Live,” “New Year’s Day,” and “The Manuscript.”
I knew I’d be emotional, but hearing “End of an Era” in “Long Live” had me crying in the club.
You can bet the last time Taylor sang “Karma” she added the line “Karma is the guy on the chiefs.” Still can’t believe her “back up dancer” got a shoutout!
Taylor left the stage in a different way, leaving Swifties more confused than ever.
Taylor played her last two shows in Toronto and Vancouver...ironically “T.V.” (Taylor’s Version). Did Taylor do it on purpose!? Did she FINALLY drop reputation (Taylor’s Version) or Taylor Swift aka “Debut” (Taylor’s Version) at all? Unfortunately, no.
We did see Taylor in the same outfits for three nights in a row with tons of cameras on stage. Could we get one last The Eras Tour TTPD version on Disney Plus? We’ll just have to see!
I’m going to need at least 3-5 business days to process the last show. I’m EMOTIONAL.
Did you go to The Eras Tour? What show did you attend? What “era” did you dress in? Let me know in the comments!
