1. Santa Parade and Photo Experience in Lake Grove
Tonight, Friday, November 8th, a festive celebration will take place at the Smith Haven Mall as Santa and the Centereach Fire Department lead a holiday-themed parade. In order to ensure that you can take photos with Santa and enjoy milk and cookies after the parade, reserve your spot here. The parade will begin at 6 PM.

2. Holiday Market at Station Yards in Ronkonkoma
Starting November 30th, every Saturday through December 21st, Station Yards will host a Holiday Market. From 12 - 4 PM, small businesses and local vendors will offer the opportunity to buy unique gifts, crafts, and treats. Holiday music will be performed by student musicians from local school districts to enhance the festive shopping experience. The cost of this event is free.

3. Santa Parade and Visit in Port Jeff
On December 1st from 3 - 4 PM, the Annual Port Jefferson Santa Parade will take place. Beginning at the Port Jefferson LIRR Tracks, heading into Main Street, and concluding at the Port Jefferson Village Center, this event will be filled with holiday joy! After the parade concludes, there will be a free meet and greet with Santa Claus at the Port Jefferson Village Center.

4. Holiday Light Spectacular in Holtsville
From December 7th through December 22nd, the Holtsville Ecology Site will host a walk-through, holiday light show. This experience will take place on Friday through Sunday from 5 - 8 PM. Families can experience lighted, festive displays and take photos with Santa in his workshop. All proceeds will benefit the Holtsville Ecology Site, which will benefit the care of the 100 animals residing there. Tickets cost $10 for adults and $8 for seniors, veterans, and young children. Children 3 and under are free.

5. The Mineola Village Holiday Festival in Mineola Memorial Park
On December 7th, 8th, 14th, and 15th, a free, holiday celebration will take place in Mineola Memorial Park. With ice skating, holiday-themed food and drinks, music and entertainment, character meet and greets, heated tents, and a vendor village, this experience is filled with festive activities.

6. A Charlie Brown Christmas at Ballet Long Island
On Saturday, December 7th and Sunday, December 8th, live performances of A Charlie Brown Christmas will take place at Ballet Long Island. Tickets will cost $22 for adults, $12 for children, and $12 for senior citizens. Tickets can be purchased on The Ballet Center website.

7. Christmas Film Series at The Suffolk in Riverhead
Throughout the month of December, The Suffolk is showing a variety of family favorite, winter and holiday themed films. Tickets will cost $15 and the venue will offer table service. A kid-friendly food and drink menu will be available.

8. The Riverhead Holiday Light Show in Riverhead
Beginning November 15th and concluding on December 31st, Long Islander’s can drive their cars through the Riverhead Holiday Light Show! As cars travel down the one mile route, their radios can sync to the light performance to create the ultimate holiday experience. Tickets start at $25.
