Governor Hochul announced on Tuesday that all entry fees at New York state park pools will be waived for the summer!
The news is just another piece of the state’s “New York Swims” project to make pools more accessible in all communities.
The initiative is a $150M investment which will also include more swimming lessons in state parks. Free sunscreen will also be handed out at state parks all summer long.
Hochul’s announcement did include the fact that fees will still apply at locations where there is on-site parking charges.
