If you have a social media account of any kind, you have seen that Disney is remaking possibly every Disney classic possible. Aladdin is one of those being remade with a live action twist to it. On Wednesday, Entertainment Weekly revealed the first look at the set of Aladdin, and some people are a bit disappointed in one character specifically— the Genie!
Most fans are disappointed that the Genie, played by Will Smith, won’t be blue. But, Will Smith went on Instagram to set the record straight that he will be CGI’d to be blue.
Other than that mishap, the pictures look amazing! Let’s hope Aladdin lives up to the expectations fans have.
