Hey, Carpenters! If you adore Christmas or streaming the fruitcake EP, you know it’s a big week to be a Sabrina Carpenter fan. In November, everyone’s favorite short and sweet singer announced that she was partnering with Netflix to release her first-ever holiday special. Tonight, the wait is finally over, and the film will be available for streaming at 9:00 PM (ET).
Last night, Sabrina celebrated the release of the film by surprising fans at an early screening in New York City. As a Carpenter of 10+ years, I was thrilled to be invited and wanted to take you all along with me! So, here’s your personalized invite to a sneak peek of the premiere of A Nonsense Christmas with Sabrina Carpenter (and Intern Krystal)! And don’t worry, I’ll keep it spoiler-free.
The Venue
Very on-brand for Sabrina, considering her song ‘Paris,’ the premiere took place at The Paris Theater. Sabrina stunned on the red carpet underneath the marquee, with her name shining across it. My fangirl heart was overwhelmed with happiness for her.
Let the Nonsense Festivities Begin!
Upon entering, we were handed our very special screening tickets, which revealed our seat numbers. Considering it’s the cutest movie ticket I’ve ever seen, I’ll definitely be framing mine for some Sabrina-themed Christmas decor. On the way to our seats, I was gifted A Nonsense Christmas-themed Santa hat, which will definitely make its way into all of my Christmas festivities this year. And of course, it wouldn’t be the perfect movie screening without some glittery, candy-cane-flavored popcorn to accompany the film. As we waited for the event to begin, Carpenters shared their excitement and posed for photos together. Of course, I had to come dressed as Santa (or, as Sabrina would say, Sabrina Claus).
A Short n’ Sweet Surprise
My number-one Christmas wish was crossed off my list when Sabrina herself entered the theater to introduce the film to us. Dressed in the cutest winter dress, she shared her love for all of us Carpenters and gave us some inside insight into the making of the movie, like how it only took two days to film.
Well, I think it’s officially time for me to sign off before I get too excited and give anything away. But let me tell you, Carpenters, you are in for the most magical holiday treat. Sabrina truly delivered the perfect blend of surprise, comedy, comfort, and entertainment, all wrapped up into one film-shaped holiday present.
