Last night’s MTV VMAs was absolutely incredible! Sabrina Carpenter winning her first ever moon person, Halsey’s rockin’ performance on stage, and so much more in between. If you were thinking, “hey, I think I’ve seen this look before...” well, you’re right!

Sabrina Carpenter’s stunning white beaded dress was actually worn originally by Madonna at the 1991 Oscars.

Halsey stunned on the black carpet with a red dress with leopard print matching her red hair. Her dress, originally designed by Gianni for Elizabeth Hurley in 1996, got to make the carpet yet again!

Tate McRae’s outfit was paying homage to Britney Spears in 2001.

Megan Thee Stallion evening honoring Britney Spears with this outfit...even a literal snake she was NOT comfortable having on her!

Fans even thinking Taylor Swift’s outfit on the black carpet was reminiscent of Cher from Clueless with the yellow plaid!
