The organizers of the Hollywood Walk of Fame have revealed plans to honor the late Carrie Fisher with a star on the iconic sidewalks of Hollywood Boulevard. The ceremony is scheduled to take place on May the Fourth, which is a fitting date for fans of the Star Wars franchise. May the Fourth be with you...

Fisher sadly passed away at the age of 60 in 2016, after suffering a heart attack. She was known for her roles in various films, including When Harry Met Sally, Hannah and Her Sisters, and The Blues Brothers, in addition to the Star Wars franchise. Her mother, Debbie Reynolds, passed away the following day.

The star will be the 2,754th one on the Walk of Fame, and it will be unveiled by the Walt Disney Company. Fisher’s daughter, Lourd, will accept the star on behalf of her mother.
