Tate McRae performed for the first time at Madison Square Garden on Thursday, August 22nd to wrap up the U.S. leg of her “Think Later” world tour, which was a MAJOR success. On this tour, she’s performed for some of the biggest crowds in her career, but we think MSG took the cake.
Tate’s show at MSG was SOLD OUT, which is a huge deal considering it was her first time playing in the venue. This time last year, Tate was performing for crowds of 2,000 people. Now she’s selling out arenas that hold over 19,000 people. Talk about a MAJOR milestone.
When Tate first announced this tour, she made it known that she would have a special guest perform with her at the MSG stop. Fans speculated that it would be Olivia Rodrigo since they are close friends and she didn’t have a performance in LA scheduled on the 22nd. But to our surprise (or maybe not) Tate brought out her boyfriend The Kid LAROI to perform his hit “Without You” together!
Their performance together was SO CUTE!! The Kid LAROI has been super supportive of Tate throughout the tour, so it was awesome to see them on stage together doing their thing!
All of her tour stops have been incredible, but MSG was FOR SURE the favorite child. She premiered a NEW SONG on Thursday at the show called “It’s ok I’m ok” which she hasn’t played at any other tour stop!
She even performed this song with a headset mic, which fans have been BEGGING for since she dances so much during her songs. If the rest of the new album Tate has been working on sounds like this, we need it NOW!!!
We think it’s safe to say Tate McRae CRUSHED this tour stop!
