At a recent British Auction, a jolly piece of movie history was sold for a whopping $300,000. It was none other than the iconic ‘Elf’ costume worn by Will Ferrell! The costume was sold to an anonymous bidder and auctioned by Prop Store Entertainment Memorabilia auction, according to People Magazine. I guess this means that the chance of a sequel, where Will Ferrell steps back into his famous Elf shoes is indefinite at the moment!
