Judy Ann Hill, 28, of Pelzer, is charged with intent to defraud the South Carolina Education Lottery, according to a news release.

According to arrest warrants, Hill redeemed stolen scratch-off tickets at three different stores on Nov. 14, 2020, WPDE-TV reported. One of the tickets was redeemed in Greenville County and two were cashed in Newberry County, the television station reported.

Investigators said in Hill’s arrest warrants that the tickets were previously stolen by her two co-defendants during an armed robbery in Simpsonville on Nov. 13, 2020, WLTX reported.

Hill redeemed the tickets and received a cash payout at all three stores, according to the television station. All three tickets were redeemed within three hours, WSPA-TV reported.

It was unclear how much money Hill received.

Hill was arrested Monday and taken to the Greenville County Detention Center, WPDE reported.
